Founded in 2012, 5G Reformation Ministries began when Byron and Leesa were students at Charis Bible College in Colorado. Their mission: to pioneer Charis and Andrew Wommack Ministries in Australia with a team of leaders. A team composed of fivefold ministry leaders was formed to oversee and guide these ministries. Students, led by team leaders, were taken to Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and Aboriginal communities in Australia.
Once back in the United States in 2017, 5G Reformation Ministries shifted its focus to equip pastors in under-resourced regions of Northern India and Fiji. This led to the development of twelve series of Bible studies for churches, home groups, and one-on-one discipleship.
Today, 5G oversees three discipleship training centers for young people in India and ministers weekly to over 100 pastors online. Locally, 5G holds weekly business Bible studies for the unchurched in the marketplace. They have also established a five-fold New Testament church that meets weekly in Venus, Texas.
The answer to these problems is found in the blueprint of the New Covenant church leadership model, outlined for us in the Book of Acts and the apostolic epistles. We have inadvertently built God’s house using the wrong set of blueprints. The result is that 75% of ministry leaders are reporting severe stress causing anguish, worry, anger, depression, and alienation.
Blueprints matter to God! He gave them to Noah to build the Ark. He gave them to Moses to construct the tabernacle. And again, to David to build the temple. But He also gave them to New Covenant believers to establish the five-fold ministry leadership team in His church, described in Ephesians 4:11-16.
It’s what He has provided for the “equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry.” Upon God’s biblical blueprint, 5G Reformation Ministries was launched on July 9th, 2023, in a living room with five people who knew they were called to start a new wine Apostolic Hub. Its purpose: revival, reformation, and discipleship within the local church.
